Crystals For Beginners!

More and more we are seeing the rave about crystals. So many think they are just rocks, even though they come from they come from the Earth. Like the trees, the waters, the fruits, the vegetation, and everything else nature we benefit from, they too are here for a purpose.

Crystals, rocks, minerals, and stones have been around since the beginning of time, especially in jewelry! The ancients were aware of the crystal energy these stones emitted and used them accordingly. They knew then that each color carries its own vibration just like numbers, us, and everything else in life. With the human body being crystalline in nature correlating the colors of crystals to the chakra centers enhances their energy and how that energy can benefit us.

The colors in these stones are part of why we are drawn to certain ones over others. A lot of us have energy blockages for many different reasons, that blocked energy gets stored in our chakras. Though there are 114 chakras in the body understanding the 7 main energy centers and what crystals are best for each is extremely beneficial

The Crown Chakra- Represented by the color purple is the energy center for your awareness, thoughts, your connection to The Ethers. A great stone for this chakra is Amethyst as it works to ease your mind.

The Third Eye Chakra- Depicted by the color indigo is the chakra center for "Inner knowing" or intuition. A crystal I love to use for this chakra is Lapis Lazuli also known as the stone of total awareness!

The Throat Chakra- Shown as the color blue is the center for your truth, if you're able to express yourself or if you over express yourself, Aquamarine is a beautiful light blue crystal aiding in communication.

The Heart Chakra- Portrayed by a beautiful earthy green color, the heart chakra is responsible for our feeling, our love, our connection to ourselves and that in which we are connected. There are many stones to help us balance our hearts, my favorite is Green Grossular Garnet or African Jade Stone, a stone of serenity and purity it's an overall healer and solidifier.

The Solar Plexus Chakra- Vibrant yellow is the color used for this energy center. This is where your self-esteem and confidence derive, so crystals like Yellow Jasper that give you that trust in yourself are perfect for this chakra.

The Sacral Chakra- Being shown by beautiful orange tones your sacral chakra is responsible for your sensuality and creativity making Orange Aventurine the perfect crystal for accessories like waist beads. Orange Aventurine brings out your inner power and true passion.

The Root Chakra- Red is the color used to depict the root chakra. Like a tree our root

chakra is our foundation, our connection to earth. It includes all the things that make us feel safe or at home, our finances, and all other things "survival". Great stones for this area would be Garnet or Red Agate both allowing grounding to take place easier, bringing about vitality, healing, feeling safe and protected.
